Is your roof in need of maintenance?

My roof is getting the huge cracks and holes fixed. I am finally attending f2f meetings and getting the guts to share. When I share I will confess my inability to feel I am worthy of human contact beyond getting my next hit. When I attend meetings, I run out the second they are over. I may have almost two years of sobriety, worked the steps, hold myself accountable, know how to identify and stop the addict, and maintain boundaries but I am afraid of people.

I obviously have a huge hole in my roof. I am working on this. After last night's meeting I wanted to act out. I am digging into some serious stuff here.

I'm on my roof every day, all day long looking for signs of cracking or damage. Just trying not to get distracted by the beautiful views :)

AWESOME THREAD!!

Bumping this—a good reminder about how it's often the seemingly small cracks in our sobriety can become a dangerous problem.

My roof isn't currently leaking but it's a big roof, so when I'm done looking at one area, another usually pops up that needs maintaining :D I hope to stick to that vigilance and ask God to keep me away from complacency and stalling.

Great post!
